70 years ago, the Supreme Court reaffirmed in Brown v. Board of Education a fundamental truth – that all are created equal. Seven decades later, we remain committed to battling generations of systemic injustice and inequality to ensure a brighter more equal future for all.

On International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, and every day, we show solidarity with our vibrant LGBTQ+ communities.   Democrats will always reject bigotry and speak out against hate, so that all are free to be their authentic selves.

Ahead of the World Health Assembly, I strongly encourage @WHO to reinstate observer status for Taiwan.  Doing so will not only enable Taiwan’s meaningful participation in global health collaboration but also enable the world to benefit from Taiwan’s capabilities & expertise.
